Wondeful Weather and Halloween!!

Love the pictures of the homestead Jo!! What beautiful weather we have been lucky to have. We took advantage of it and rode for three days. Probably some of my last rides of the year. I actually get sad!! Boy do I miss the kids being little this time of year. Making costumes and pulling my hair out. Remember the kids trick ot treating over here. Where do the years go?? Well it's friday again........and what a long week it has been!!! If I have to smile and offer another order of fries today I think I'm gonna puke..(did I spell that right I don't think i've ever typed that word before)LOL...anyways it's off to another day at the grease pit..and some friday night football..with a little after game celebrations at the Towne's tonight with chili and a bomb fire. Refreshments will be served as well. Tommorow I will haul my husbands ass up to Remsen's barn fest for a extra large full of calories eclair.......Yes girls you are missing out :) !!!!!!

Awesome Night Out

Well we did it....had our first class "The Perfect Blend" and I can't think of a better name for it, or for Monday night....it was absolutely wonderful. I felt like a million bucks... that was until reality set back in. I believe this maybe what I have been missing...or at least one of the things.....hehe!

Jo, Tee said you would have laughed all the way through the class but you would have loved it...we truly missed you, nothing would have made it more perfect.

Friday Night Lights

Well all this talk about football.........thought you might want to see him in his jersey.This week was a sad win..........we got it done but it was painful to watch............14-12..I am afraid it's going to be a long seoson GO RFA!!!

We too have made it through.........Although it is still 2pm not offically done witht the first week of school..............Crazy week is an understatement. I think we can all agree on that this week. Been working on some quilted stocking for volunteer work with the kids, walking a little and eating too good this week.......might just have to cheat at the football game. Heading out to Central Square tonight hopefully we won't get to wet....
Ash still hasn't made it on the soccer field yet maybe next week she will get her clearance.......starting to wonder when!!! Work is still a bummer and crazy as ever and other than that not much else going on here........chat again soon..Maybe i'll figure out how to put some pictures in here..Wish me luck.. Jo

Well we have made it through the first week of school for this new year. They seem to be adapting to their new schedules well. I am quite exhausted, hopefully that will pass...this getting up early on a regular basis is killing me. Gosh...they are growing up way to fast.

The Perfect Blend

Hello gals...I am so excited...Tee and I just signed up for our first course at Postdam State...it's call The Perfect Blend...Yoga, Martial Arts & Qigong, not really sure what any of it is, but I hope like heck it will make us feel not only physically better but emotionally. Gosh, now that I think of it two nights a week out of the house will do wonders alone.

Who knows...maybe next we can do Aquatic Fitness...really I had Ceili Dancing in mind, what fun.

Back to School

Well, it's that week, the kids go back to school and I use it as a good excuse to try and get my life back in some type of order. Usually works, but somehow this year it seems to be the week from hell and they haven't even made it out the door to the bus yet....they are counting down the hours, shit I've got it down to minutes......

Seriously the year will come and go quicker then we can even begin to imagine..it's the start to our next four years of graduates...yikes..now that's scary.

May this be a wonderful school year and may we all be blessed to make it through....Ash may you have the best year yet and Em may it be the first of a fabulous four years that will go by too quick.

Cabbage Roll Making

Here Mom and Lou are making cabbage rolls. Lou has wanted to learn how to do this for years and today is the day!! WooHoo!! Hey JoJo, wish you were here!! We need a little Polly, mom is already starting to abuse me! Notice the large knife in her hand. I am having flashbacks from my childhood only the knife was smaller!! Love you Mom!! Doesn't Lou look so proud. That is her first pig in a blanket. Doesn't take much to entertain us. Here they are being tigresses. Ggrrrr.....baby Ggrrrr!! Oh shit..I actually think they were gritting their teeth at me. Oops!

And the day would not be complete without Mom doing her impression of Eve. That's a pretty big fig leaf Mom!!

And this is what we intend to do with the little buggers when they are cooked. Yummy in my tummy.

Well, the event is over. We also made pea soup and Indian soup. Just need to go home and make Johnny cake.

Is Anybody Out There?

Ok, Guess I'll go second too! Just wondering if anyone has tried this oatmeal. I love it!! Found it at Wal-mart. Lou and I walked for an hour at the track today. Way too sunny for me but it's over with! Hope we burned off that Chinese Food cheat meal. The Tilapia fish rocks too!!

Chubby Mojo

OK, OK!!! I'll go first. I am the one in the middle...but I am the oldest and wisest. I would have to say Jo is the most athletic and Lou is just plain hot!! BITCH!! Somewhere years ago, after my second born, Lou passed on her chubby mojo to me as she slimmed down. How in the hell she has maintained it through the years is beyond me. I love chips and dip, doughnuts (mom's homemade), chocolate cake COVERED in frosting. Oops, I am starting to salivate!

We are all trying to be good girls and get healthier. Nothing crazy or fadlike. Just doing the right things. Come on...we all know what we should be doing! Hopefully mom and my niece Ash, who is 17 and a beeeeutiful, smart, hockey playing soccer goalie (who is a high school senior) will join the three of us with some of their wisdom!!
